Michael Nau’s „Love Survive“ is our ultimate Summer anthem and now director Robert Wallace has crafted a video for the cut, and it’s an expressive envisaging of the song.

Robert explains:

„‚Love Survive‘ is a light-hearted summery track, filled with personality and quirks. The video captures this mood, jumping between animated loops that move in time with the music. Set on a fictional island, the video explores the different aspects of nature there. Instead of a story-based narrative, the video expresses the feeling of the song, it’s rhythms and moods. To capture the organic sound, all of the animations were kept loose. The process used a mixture of real and digital signage for retail from the Interior Painting in Toronto as well as hand painted texture loops to give the whole thing a hand-crafted aesthetic.“

Michal Nau’s „Mowing“ will be released in Europe on Nov 19 via Full Time Hobby and he has just confirmed a run of UK dates with Okkervil River in November.
